a)  Share briefly some of the general results of day 3 

b)  What is obstructing the educational system from being more transformative and, as a consequence, what needs to change in our educational system and institutions?

11:30 - 13:00       Small Groups (continued) – Institutional diagnosis

c)   How do our own particular educational institutions and/or personal learning processes in that institution need to change in order for them to be genuinely transformational? Identity:

i) 4 or 5 practices by virtue of which their institution or learning processes is already transformative 

ii)  4 or 5 obstacles to transformative education in their institution

iii) 4 or 5 key aspects of their own educational institution or/and personal learning processes that would need to change in order for the institution to become more transformational.

                     Members of the same institution who are in different groups are encouraged to share

                     ideas/practices during the course of the evening

 

July 5, 2006 ACTION PLANS

09:00 - 11:00     Small Groups – Personal action plan

a)  Each person explores his/her basic action plan idea, explains why he/she chose that and what he or she aims to achieve;

b)  The other members of the group would make suggestions to this first version of the proposal

11:00 - 11:30    Refreshment Break

11:30 - 13:00    Small Groups (Continued) – Personal action plan

c) Write down personal action plan and commitment to support other’s action plan

d) By the end of the morning, each person has to write his or her action plan (no more than one page) and give it to his or her supporter and also to the facilitator.

13.00 -14.00     Conference closing over lunch
